Art Balena Photography has been serving the greater Los Angeles area since 1995. Art specializes in commercial photography. Having shot ad campagins, annual reports, events and executive portraits for many corporate clients, Art understands the importance of getting the image to the customer the way the customer expects it. Being a photographer has given Art a unique opportunity to see and capture many different aspects of life. Every day presents a different opportunity and challenge. One day he is shooting a fashion editorial the next day he is shooting a spcecraft in a cleanroom environment.
Art also believes in giving back to the community that supports him. Art also volunteers as an Assistant Scoutmaster with Troop 581. Art loves the outdoors and being able to teach the boys outdoor, leadership and personal development skills.
Art was formally trained at Brooks Institute of Photography where he was an Honor Student while he earned a dual Bachelor of Arts Degree in Commercial and Industrial Photography. Art's training continued after college as a photographic assistant to many national level photographers, and as a studio manager/first assistant in a busy commercial advertising studio.
